Car of the Year semi-finalists announced for 2014

The 2013 South African Car of the Year is the Porsche Boxster S.

The South African Guild of Motoring Journalists (SAGMJ) annually hosts the South African Car of the Year (COTY) competition – and has been since 1986. COTY is presented with sponsorship from WesBank and new models released between the designated dates are entered for consideration.
These semi-finalists go to a further paring in October when the SAGMJ members vote on which cars from this list they believe should become finalists. That announcement is expected on the 19th of October at the Johannesburg International Motor Show (JIMS).
