As South Africa comes out of the festive (December/January) holiday season and gets back to work, we tally the numbers of deaths that have taken place over the period. Heard on radio news the traffic department guy is saying that if you’re pulled over by an unmarked car with blue lights you should ask for an “Appointment Certificate”. If the person produces it then he’s legit, if he can’t (even if he is legit) then anything he does is illegal.
