It takes 34 hours and 48 minutes to make the 18.8 billion kilometre round-trip from Earth and back in order to reach Voyager 2 and get a response. That’s only if you’re travelling by radio signal though, not something you’re going to be doing in person.

Five more World Heritage Sites for SA?

There are something like 1,121 UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) World Heritage Sites dotted around the globe. Of this total, you will find 10 in South Africa. There are also five on the tentative list.

You’ve got to have the right touch

There’s a lot to complain about in South Africa, the list seems endless, but we need to balance that with the good too. Some are obviously good, like quality biltong, and others not so obvious. I spent some time thinking about it.
