The oval track racers of Victory Raceway are in action on Saturday (10 May) for a regional event. Race fans can expect a tough fight between competitors are they fight for honours in the local championship.
This is the third regional event at the club for this season and the action doesn’t appear to be slowing down at all. In fact, as the season progresses, competition amongst the racers is becoming more intense.
Competition is scheduled to take place in Junior Hot Rods, 1660s, 2.1 Modifieds, Hot Rods, Super Sixes and American Saloons.
Victory Raceway is located on the Schoenmakerskop road (Victoria Drive) in Port Elizabeth and entry to the event is R50 for adults. Parking around the track is R20 per vehicle if you don’t want to sit in the grandstands.
There are also food stalls and braai facilities at the circuit – in addition to the club’s bar.
